California Veterinary Medical FoundationThe California Veterinary Medical Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization formed by the California Veterinary Medical Association in 1995. It is devoted to helping animals in California , especially during disasters. The foundation is completely funded by donations. Following are programs that provide ways you can help. Memorial Gift Program In the tradition of memorial gift programs, this provides an avenue to memorialize a lost animal in a meaningful way and recognize the value of the human-animal bond. Your tax deductible donation to this memorial gift program will help fund the purposes of the foundation, such as educating the public on animal health care needs and services and providing aid to animals during disasters. Disaster Aid No one wants their animals to become the victims of a disaster. Therefore, donations to this foundation are tax-deductible as a charitable donation.
