CVMA Interactive Regulatory Guide

The CVMA Interactive Regulatory Guide is a necessary guide to Cal/OSHA regulatory and safety requirements. It is available only to CVMA members.

The law requires you to review your facility’s safety program once a year.

It requires you to have an Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Emergency Action Plan (EAP), Fire Prevention Plan (FPP), and Hazard Communication Program (HCP) in place.

If your facility is inspected by Cal/OSHA, your written IIPP will be reviewed. Not having an acceptable written IIPP in place can result in significant fines. The law requires that the IIPP be the backbone of your safety and health program.

The electronic, subscription-only Regulatory Guide will help you get compliant and stay compliant. It contains
  • an updated regulatory manual, with information on how to produce and implement a safety program
  • interactive Web pages that will create a customized IIPP, EAP, FPP, and HCP for your facility
  • access to a regulatory consultant
  • frequent updates as laws change.
California has some of the strictest safety requirements in the nation. Don’t be caught in violation, which can result in fines into the tens of thousands of dollars.

If you are a CVMA member you can subscribe to the Regulatory Guide by visiting the Regulatory area of the Products section of our website.
